FARM STAND closed for the winter

See you in the Spring!

During the Spring, Summer and Fall, our Farm Stand is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday till 4 PM. CSA members may pick up their shares on those days as well.

Stoney Lane Farm goes Organic!

Stoney Lane Farm was established in Buckingham Township, Pennsylvania in 1891. Generations of our family have farmed the land, and in the spring of 2017 we began transitioning our farm to an all-organic farm.

As we welcome the new organic practices of sustainable agriculture, we invite you to become a part of our transformation and receive well grown, farm fresh produce.

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA)

We are pleased to announce that in our inaugural year in 2017 we had 90 members join our CSA. We are looking forward to 2018 when we once again get to offer our produce to our CSA family and get to welcome all the new members that join into our continued growing CSA family.

HOW IT WORKS

Memberships are purchased before the annual harvest season, which begins late May to early June. The Membership is then fulfilled once the harvesting begins and throughout the harvest season, which runs for about five months and ends late October.

Generally, Member’s come to the farm stand either every week or every other week during the harvest season. Each week they get to pick out in our farm stand what produce they want to eat that week from our large variety of fresh produce that is picked daily. Optional Local Delivery is also available.

Our Memberships offer a considerable discount from our retail prices, and each larger Membership offers more of a discount. The maximum discount that can be received is 40% off of our retail price for our organic produce that we grow.

OUR FARM STAND

Each week our farm stand will be fully stocked of a wide variety of produce for you to enjoy. We will also have a variety of items from local vendors that can be purchased as well. These include organic eggs, organic and natural teas, organic and natural preserves, apples, goats milk soap and natural soap to name a few of the many items.

Need Delivery?

Weekly Delivery, up to a 10 mile radius of the farm, for the whole harvest season is $99, and Every Other Week Delivery is $59. For delivery beyond 10 miles, it's $1.00 per additional mile.

You can select a delivery option at checkout.

Customers purchase memberships from the farm, and in return receive produce each week, picked fresh daily. By joining our CSA you share all the rewards and some of the risks of the season. In general though, memberships to our CSA gives you up to a 40% discount on the produce we grow and you will be able to choose each week from our farm stand what you would like to take home with you based on the membership you purchased and what was harvested that week. While we would never want to purchase outside produce to fill our orders, it may be an option if another organic grower is growing something that failed for us.

We also sell our produce at various farmers’ markets and occasionally wholesale. While we technically try to balance priority for produce delivery to all of our outlets so that we can meet our bills, the CSA gets slightly more priority. Don’t be alarmed if you come to a market and see some item that wasn’t at the farm stand! It probably just means it came into maturity at a different time and most likely will be in the farm stand the next time you come to pick up your produce. You don’t have to worry about winding up with 10 pounds of tomatoes in your order because you are in control of what you get each week. We will try to have some sort of root vegetable, a fresh herb, greens, salad mix, some sort of allium crop, and anything else that might be in season each week in our farm stand for you to take home and enjoy. The volume and weight vary a lot each week during the season. In the spring our produce will most likely have large volume and lower weight, and at the peak of summer it is usually lower volume and heavier weight.

We will also be selling in our farm stand various products from local vendors. These include organic and natural teas, jams, preserves, eggs and apples to name a few. These items are not part of the CSA membership put can be purchased anytime in our farm stand.

You are responsible for picking up your produce during our business hours Tuesday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call Kayla at 732-539- 5612 during our business hours. Delivery is also available. Delivery is a flat rate charge of $5.00 within a 10-mile radius of the farm each week. Outside the 10 mile radius the delivery charge is $5.00 plus $1.00 for each additional mile. If your items aren’t picked up during our business hours that week, they might be donated to the last member who shows up, our hosts, our friends, or a food pantry.
